Edit: Translation: Is it possible to replace the Hard drive with an SSD?
Hi,
Yes, you can replace the 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Crucial MX500 or similar.
On page 48 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the drive
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03094322
You will need to reinstall the OS which you can perform doing a clean install by downloading the media from Microsoft
https://www.microsoft.com/it-it/software-download/windows10
Hope it helps,
David

THANK YOU SIR.
My sister recently purchased a HP Laptop (Product #5YQ23AV) and when configuring the computer she did not upgrade the wireless card to wireless AC. Could someone recommend a wireless ac card that is compatible with this device? Also, how difficult would it be to install? Thanks!!

Hi:
There is only one antenna cable connected to the single band wifi adapter in your PC.
The only AC wifi card that will work with one antenna cable is this one...
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1×1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) L17365-005
The only place I have been able to find this card is on eBay because the HP parts store has them on back order.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=L17365-005&_sacat=0&_sop=15
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook. The wifi card R & R procedure can be found in chapter 6.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06147959
The level of difficulty is subjective. Take a look at the manual and see if you can do the job yourself.
I recommend you purchase a set of notebook pry tools to facilitate separating the case parts to prevent the plastic from being marred or sratched.

If the Notebook still has warranty, it is recommended to get the Notebook serviced by HP if needed.
If the Notebook is overheating alot, you can try upgrading the graphics card drivers and the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Hi. I had the motherboard go out on an HP Spectre 360 13-4002dx. The repair service I'm using is suggesting that they can cannibalize an HP Spectre G1 motherboard and put it in my computer. I just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts or experience with this type of process - will the G1 motherboard be compatible with my computer? Thanks!
Are you able to locate the origin of noise on the PC?
Does the PC shut down when it is overheated? If yes, it could be a hardware failure.
If not, try performing an extensive test on the PC. Here is how you do it:
Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
Click Extensive Test.
Also, refer to these documents for help. HP Notebook PCs - Fan is Noisy and Spins Constantly (Windows) and HP Notebook PCs - Reducing Heat Inside the Laptop to Prevent Overheating.

Yes it worked. The first 4GB of the 8GB RAM stick runs in dual channel with the original 4GB RAM stick. The remaining 4GB of the new 8GB stick is running in single channel.
Hi,
Yes, there are minor differences that can be used to distinguish the two boards.
The most notable difference is that the Bluetooth 4.0 module has a string of digits below the QR-code on the sticker, while the Bluetooth 2.1 does not.
There are some other minor differences.
I enclose two photos. The first is the 2.1 module (sps 537921-001) while the other is the 4.0LE module (sps 655792-001).
Good luck - write again if something is not clear.
