Hinge breaking

I have an HP Envy that’s about 2.5 years old. Does not have wear and tear, runs great. I didn’t drop or bump it but *surprise surprise!* we’ve got a hinge problem! Left hinge seems bent and is forcing the screen to bulge open on the bottom corner. Any luck getting this fixed with manufacturer defect?

Processor power throtling only on AC power

Hello,

I've been experiencing power throttling issues with my new gaming laptop, only when is on AC power, It works buttery smooth on battery (is like night and day). I check the charger plug for bend pin and is not bend (by the way, judging by the amount of post pointing at bend pins I would consider changing the design of the AC adapter to something less fragile), I have tried playing with the power profile, installing HP troubleshooting tools, even creating a custom power plan via CLI. Does anyone experienced anything similar or has a fix?

Thanks!

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Chapter 1, page 2 has the list of supported AMD processors.

According to the manual the best processor you can install would be the A8-3520M.

Hi:

Unfortunately, no one can tell you exactly how large a capacity NVMe SSD you can install in your notebook.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 512 GB in the model series, but that is normally just what they offered, not the maximum capacity supported.

Theoretically, the sky's the limit as long as the drive is single-sided.

The Crucial memory report indicates that they sell NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB.

Hello there,
Can the battery of this make _HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg3002nx (8F1M8EA)_ be removed so that I can keep the laptop plugged and powered as in old laptops? working time up to 10 hours.
Is it safe and easy to remove it? Will this action affect the other hardware?

Someone has mentioned that HP laptop has a BIOS setting to limit battery charging level to 80% of the maximum to preserve battery life. Is this setting included on this laptop?
