So HP...thanks alot, i have a laptop with literally 4 different model #'s all valid when searching for drivers and bios updates, here goes... ok so on the lcd bezel it says DV2000 on the Bottom it says Model DV2500 and then next to that on the same label it says DV2840SE and then when the bios boots it says DV2700 it has a AMD Turion x2 CPU the problem i am having with it, is this...it runs flawlessly, charges flawlessly, the 1 problem is when you shut down, if you try to restart immediately, or without waiting 5 minutes, you press power button, it lights up fan spins then it shuts down after like 2 seconds, if you press again immediately it runs for even shorter time, THEN if you LET IT SIT LIKE 5 MINUTES and power on,, it's fine...will run for hours, no freezing no nothing, just flawless operation. I am suspecting some bios corruption or wrong version due to the different model #'s i currently have F28 i reflashed with F24 same problem so i went back to F28 because it's the latest, but hose other models have different bios revisions and i am afraid to try others, the one i used was for the dv2840se. unfortunately since this is older HP conveniently removed all info about it from their site, HELP
