Here is a document from the official HP Support site which clearly describes the different kinds of the warranty applicable for batteries.
Mine is a 'Long-life, non-removable battery', please have a look.

And yes, I have checked my papers as well, and it's clearly mentioned in the Deliverables section "N-CSR Battery Replace".

My laptop power button switches between ON and OFF, but my screen remains black. I have tried hard resetting, pressing the power button for 5-10-15 seconds with no luck. I don't hear the laptop powering on or off. I have done this with and without my charging cable connected and disconnecting any other accessories. 

 

The power button is not jammed or anything, there is a free flowing motion when pressed. I would really appreciate your support for troubleshooting.

Hi, we ave a cracked screen on a HP 15s-fq1012na, none of the replacement screen places list this specific model. Ive done a bit of digging and I think it is a L63566-001. however I'm not totally sure and I want to get it on order. I can't really disassemble the computer until I have a replacement as it is being used at the moment for home schooling and is temporarily plugged into a separate monitor.

 

if someone could confirm that is correct please...

 

while I have it out I was considering if it was possible to upgrade it to a touch screen? L69126-001

 

Any help would be apreciated.

My Pavilion X360 2 in 1 Convertible screen pops out whenever I try to push it back into tablet mode. I have no idea who or where to go to get it fixed. I’m pretty sure my warranty is already expired and I don’t want to pay hundreds just to get it fixed. Please help.

Hello,

I bought my HP Laptop 15-bs1xx 2 years ago and i wanted upgrade my RAM, change thermal paste and install new SSD.

For SSD upgrade i bought Kingston M2 NVMe A2000 250GB model.

For RAM Kingston KVR24S17S8/8 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL17 

But When i try to power up my PC it wont turning on. For a 1 sec power light lits and nothing happens.(No screen, no boot menu, no fan)

When i unplug my SSD it works fine. I tried plug SSD without new RAM but result is same, it isnt turning on.

 

Is it because motherboard supports only M2 SATA not NVMe? Or any driver, software related issue?

 

HP Laptop i5 8250U/Intel HD Graphics 620/AMD R5 M330/8GB RAM(Upgraded to 16GB)/1TB 5400RPM HDD/Windows 10

Try adding ram 1st or ssd then see what happens, add one piece of new hardware at a time, you maybe able to narrow it down that way.

Yes I suspected so but desperation got the best of me and I took it anyway to test/calibrate prior to making the final payment.
