Its specs

It has VGA and DVI-D connectors; HDCP support ports for input. I don't know available port(s) on your ACER Swift (probably dozens of different models) but I believe it has one HDMI port. You can use HDMI-DVI cable (direct cable, no adapter required) such as
https://www.jaycar.com.au/dvi-d-to-hdmi-cable-1-5m/p/WQ7407
It should detect automatically. Otherwise download and install

Perfect !!
Thank you for your assistance.
Are there available instructions on how to dissemble the unit?
Will I need any cloning softwares if I don't want to loose my data?
Much appreciated
Is there anybody else with this model number experiencing the same battery issues? If not, what is your average battery life for email and web browsing?
I am still waiting for HP support to get back to me. I have supplied all the information they require and they sent it to their technicians.
Hi, I have a few questions as I'm looking to upgrade the HDD capacity of my current 256GB SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM HDD setup. I'm wondering if this Seagate HDD (ST2000LM015) would be compatible with my laptop.
The Maintenance and Service Guide for this laptop doesn't show support for this combination of SSD + HDD. But I don't know if the list is comprehensive and so I've come here.
Are there any other things I should be aware of when looking to replace the HDD? I believe the new HDD should fit physically and be a simple swap. Or will I need to to replace another part as well in order for it to fit in and work? I already have an external HDD enclosure to help transfer old files later. Will I need to do anything else to 'install' the new HDD on the computer before or after the physical swap?
Also I could only find a 5400RPM drive at this 2TB capacity. My current HDD is 7200rpm. What kind of changes in performance should I expect when using an HDD with lower RPM? I'll mostly be using it to store/view/process high quality media files (photos + videos). I think at least the transfer rate will be slower, but how about anything else such as file loading times?
This is my first time replacing a part so please forgive me if I'm asking a lot.
Thank you for reading. I look forward to a reply.
i have a HP pavillion i5 my previous battery was dead so i changed it now its keep shutting down at 30% to 40% without any warning dont tell me i need to buy a new one plz i just bought it. im also adding some test reports.
The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c06035304
The manual (from your link) does show on page 1: it supports dual storage with M.2 SSD + 2.5" HDD.
It has 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA now, you can add M.2 NVMe SSD drive to your machine using
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
Or similar from reputable vendors.
One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)
https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p5/ct1000p5ssd8/ct18141250
If you wish to replace 2.5" HDD, you can use 2TB 2.5" SDD because as you say you can't find 2TB 7200RPM HDD. You can work out roughly how much the difference between 5400RPM and 7200RPM.

I purchased a HP PAVILON 15 recently at Costco. It does not charge with power cord plugged in
. If you jiggle the plug a little, it will start charging for a few seconds then quit.
Hi, thank you replying.
As I Mentioned in my opening line, I already have both an HDD and SSD on my machine.
Replacing the HDD with a 2TB SDD is out of my price range. Which is why I've asked about the compatibility of my machine with the Seagate ST2000LM015. I'm still hoping for a clearer answer on this in particular. As well anything else I would need to know whilst replacing the HDD. Like needing any extra parts or software because like I said, I've never done this before.
I'm not that familiar with HDD tech so the only thing I can guess about the difference in performance, is a proportional difference in transfer speeds. Would that be all? How noticeable would this be while using it for the purposes I mentioned in my first post?
wrote: ... As I Mentioned in my opening line, I already have both an HDD and SSD on my machine.
The specs DID NOT say that. That is a bonus. Of course, you can replace 1TB HDD with a 2TB HDD, no more parts requires the only thing is wasting money because you won't get better except for few more space. In theory you would loose roughly
1 - (5400/7200) = 25% peed
Bigger cache should help. The Seagate ST2000LM015 2TB has 128MB of cache, that helps a bit.
Page 27 of the following manual will help you how to (note: you don't need more part(s)).

It depends on what EXACTLY your Hp laptop 15 Bw0xx is ? Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Hello, I am looking to replace the optane drive in my laptop with a large ssd. From what I can gather online it is a 2280 PCIe 3.0x4 form factor, but I cannot tell if it is mSATA or NVMe? All I really need is directed to a compatible 1TB SSD.
Thank you for any assistance.
Hi@82ndcowboy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Please find the Maintenance and Service Guide.
You may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, use the HP Parts Surfer to find the part number and If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to check to get to know its hardware is faulty, not a software issue.
I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.

The specs DID NOT say that.
Correct. However referring to my opening line:
Hi, I have a few questions as I'm looking to upgrade the HDD capacity of my current 256GB SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM HDD setup.
Maybe you skimmed passed it, or sadly my word wasn't enough for you to trust me on what I am running in front of me at this very moment. But, this is all besides the point.
As far as my needs are concerned, double the space is better enough for me. Worth the cost as well. A recommendation for a 2TB 2.5" SDD at over three times the cost is not what I came for. I am aware of the other benefits related to the cost so please, there is no need for any further comment.
My concerns over 5400RPM vs 7200RPM drives have been better addressed elsewhere and lead to more clearer information such as loading, r/w times, temp, power, noise, reliability etc. versus a proportional speed difference alone; in regards to everyday usage. Countless threads of answers that haven't reduced explanations down to arithmetic. Perhaps it was my mistake and I asked too much.
Nevertheless, it was ultimately compatibility that I was concerned about, that for which I am now free of doubt.
Thank you again for the reply.
