I had already performed all system tests beforehand. They showed no errors.

And i have already reset my PC on 19 march due to this issue.

Still, seeing that my laptop shuts down suddenly.

Please help me in this regard.

Thank you, I had checked with my country HP parts reseller and they had confirmed it did not come with the SSD bracket on this motherboard. 

So better open up to see what's inside before purchasing any part.

Pavilion 15-p155ng mainboard change

Hi,

 

i`m trying to repair an Pavilion 15-p155ng. The monitor stays blank. I checked the mainboard, the ram, external monitor and so on. The mainboard gets power, the fan starts, the power led is on (side and keyboard led), no beeps, no blinks. So, after some tests i think its the graphics unit, so i have to replace the mainboard. The sku is 762526-501 (AMD A8) which i don`t find on the net. So i found a similiar which is listed in the spare parts document of hp, 787515-501. This one is a intel n3540. Because the graphics unit belongs to the motherboard, i think there is no difference for the rest of the hardware.

 

So, just to be sure, can i take the intel one?

Hello my computer is  slow and i want to add RAM. I have 4GB ddr4 ram now. Max capasity is 16GB. Should i remove old ram for 8 8 update, or can i add 8 GB to my current system?

Once more I have followed your instructions with no effect, still the fan runs all of the time.
It even comes on when on sleep mode. I took a video of it just doing this at some silly hour in the morning.
I honestly think this model as a big issue with the fans looking at the internet and forums.
HP need to be honest and do something for me and everyone else out there. Wish I got a DELL now. Lost all faith in HP. Next stop curry’s pc world to see what they can do, betting they will not help.
Come on HP do something.

hp pavilion dv 6000 mobile remote not working with windows 10

I have a laptop which I bought in the year 2008 and working fine till now. Mobile remote which came with this laptop is not working with windows 10 64bit even I change the battery in the remote. Do I need to run any driver for this or there is a problem with the remote.

 

Model # hp pavilion DV 6000 special edition  to be precise (

HP Pavilion dv6845tx Thrive Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC

)

 

Please help me with this to make my remote work

Hello People, i bought this pc year ago and currenty im having fps issues in gaming. ik this pc is not good for gaming but i only play league of legends. when i started playing i played it on high setting and 60fps but these days i lagged alot.

i contacted there support and they said laptop is fine but only cpu is on old side.

my question is can cpu be replacable on this laptop or not?

Keyboard issue

I have the HP ZBook 15 which is a workstation laptop.

Recently I'm having issues with the keyboard. Yesterday some of the keys were not working. After running "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics", all keys were fine. Then I took out the battery for a minute, restarted and ... all good.

Today, I have issues again, tried taking out the battery, no good. Ran the diagnostic test and it shows some keys not working. The keys are "a", "s", "d", "k", "l" from the alphabet, there may be others. Yesterday I think it may have been a different set of keys but I'm not 100% sure.

 

Is this a keyboard issue? Or is it a symptom of something more serious?

I've reported this to support and after going through the usual updating to the latest BIOS, driver, etc, without fixing the fault, the latest response is that losing 10% of battery per day while shutdown is "fine".

Even when the fault is only triggered by a brief hibernate.

Even when it's the equivalent charge of a mobile phone battery lost while turned off.

Hi there

My laptop is 

HP Pavilion - 15-cc547tx

My ram is

8 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB)

With 2 slots as per picture 

Im looking to add another 8gb ram.

Can you please suggest a ram upgrade for compatiblity.

Also, i would like to know if my video graphics card can be upgraded easily, and will i be able to play video games with nice graphics. Card is NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX (2 GB DDR3 dedicated) 

Ive already ordered an ssd 1tb to replace my 1tb hdd. And figured i may as well upgrade some more things while im at it. I would like to play video games.

I tried what you said but what happened was that the CPU usage will fluctuates from approx. 88% to 100% percent in a triangular wave form and will afterwards stay in 100% constantly.

 

I think all of that was effect of some application in pc which will make it normal after some time.
