If your Notebook supports SSD M.2 then the max supported size would be 256 GB as per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05227786 page 3
Thank you and have a great day 😊

Re: 2017 HP Spectre X360 15" will not charge - completely dead
I have gone through your post and I understand your concerns and frustration
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
Thank you
Re: 2017 HP Spectre X360 15" will not charge - completely dead
I had a support case (via telephone) open. The support rep wanted us to send the laptop in for unknown repair costs. I purchased a new third party charger and the problem is solved. So basically the provided HP A/C adapter died after two years. Seems pretty early for such a simple thing to fail. That said, the third party adapter I bought seems way more robust.
Type C port on HP x360 14-cd0xxx
Everything is working fine with the product, my question is, can I charge the laptop with 45W charger trhough the type C port? Or that port is just for data trasfer ?
Re: what ram can i use in hp 255 g7
Hi:
it depends on what model 255 G7 you have.
Mine has the A4 processor, and there is only one memory slot which takes a max of 8 GB.
The ones with the Ryzen processors have two memory slots and can take 2 x 8 GB of memory.
Re: Any way to decrease Vega 8 Video Memory
I just bought laptop 15s-eq0000 with Vega 8 integrated graphics and it has the same problem. I don't need to waste 2 GB of RAM to dedicated video memory, I don't play games at all. Also other laptops dedicate only about 100 MB and videocard takes more only when it's needed, it's the special HP problem. The solutions written above don't work. Please help.
USB-C Hub/Dock for HP Envy 13-aq0003na
I'm looking for a USB-C hub/dock for my HP Envy 13-aq0003na.
The specs say it has DisplayPort 1.2 compatibility, which implies it can drive two monitors (or does it?).
I want at least:
- 2 x 4K DisplayPort
- 2 x USB-A (USB2+)
Any testimonials for running 2 x 4k monitors off a single USB-C on an HP laptop most welcome.
Any pointers for finding out whether the hardware is compatible also most welcome.
More information is in a StackOverflow question, here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59883749/can-i-drive-two-external-monitors-from-my-hp-envy-laptop-using-debian-linux
