- I also have a ZB17G2 32gb ram and K3100m gpu. Im also wanting to upgrade my gpu to another gpu like u mentioned. Did you have any luck with your gpu upgrade? I would also like to upgrade my cpu to your cpu. Is that possible?

I am also having problems with my Spectre 30 laptop - there is visible swelling beneath the keyboard that has deformed the case to the point where it will not fully close. It also doesn't charge consistently when plugged in, even with the available battery life estimated at 40% or sometimes much lower. More recently, my laptop disconnects from my home wifi network - sometimes several times per day - for no apparent reason.
I downloaded HP's recall tool, which indicated that my battery is NOT part of any of HP's existing recalls. Suggestions on what I should try next?

Hi! I tried both the options (direct update and by means of an external USB drive) but unsuccessfully.
Than I tried to follow the step by step procedure to troubleshoot the USB port. The only step I performed was that for unistall the USB root hub, but after the reboot the situation did not change.
I have to say that before all these tries, I put the USB converter into the port and than the USB 2.0 key. The device manager recognized it and for a certain amount of time it worked. When I disconnected it and inserted again in the other port and in the same port it has stopped working.
I am a little discouraged...😞

Laptop beeps 4 times after playing a game for a while.
Hello, whenever I open a game (Gmod, Roblox, KSP, etc...) the game will run for a bit before beeping 4 times. After this happens, whenever I press the shift key for a brief period it will produce 4 beeps like before. It doesn't affect the game play, but it does become annoying.
Note: I have sticky, filter, and toggle keys turned off.

RAM Upgrade HP 250 G6 (Core i5 7th Gen)
I'm a little confused as to the maximum RAM available for my model. The third-party seller's website gives it as 8GB. The HP manual seems to suggest it's 16.
With product number 1WY59EA#UUW I believe I have the 7th Gen UMA. In the manual (page 2, product description) that should mean it supports up to 16gb. Weirdly, the possible configurations listed do not include 16 and only go up to 8.
I feel I've probably been dumb somewhere along the line and am missing something obvious and important. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Can I use who support fhd panel? How can I choose who compatible for my device? Will it be any problem? e.g. hardware mismatch or electric current not enough...

1. Machines which have Core processor support 16GB of RAM max.
2. Machines which has Pentium/Celeron processor only support 8GB of RAM max
Your machine has an Intel core processor therefore it supports 16GB of RAM

Feel like I have been duped
Oh mother board! In my 60's, decided to get a great, lightweight, laptop. Went to best buy and selected the HP Spectre X360. Made payments for one year. 4 months after paying it off, it died. Trying to catch up to my kids and stay actively engaged on-line and this happens. Paid over 1K for the computer. My son researched and said I should not have purchased this model. The internet shows mother board issues. Geek squad at Best Buy confirms the motherboard is bad and said also needs a new battery. Quote from best buy to fix it for about $700. HP won't address it because the one year warranty is expired. Can't afford another $700. Really feel like HP dropped the ball and the salesman should have told me about the problems people were having with this model. Can the motherboard be replaced in a less expensive way?

Hard disk switch on and off continuous when screen is off
Hi,
when screen goes off, my laptop secondary hard disk switch on and off with high frequency (every 1-2 seconds).
Set in control panel.. power options..advanced settings
turn off hard disk after .. "never" , has no effect.

Yesterday my "GPU" / "CPU" fan got cracked and I want to order it from somewhere. I get many different products and it confuses me which one to get. I went to aliexpress and looked up one but it's different from the original one. Could any of you help it this one will fit or not? Also I don't know if it's GPU or CPU fan that got cracked thank you.

Thank you for your help and suggestions. I have both good news and bad news.
The good news is I don't see any hardware issues as per below actions and their results:
Completed the firmware upgrade. After rebooting and running HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI tests:
System Information: Hard drive:

Capacity: 31 GB

Hard Drive Quick Test:
Testing Drive: 1
SMART Check: PASSED
Component Check: PASSED
The bad news is after opening the laptop, it is clear there is no standard 2.5" hard disk drive or standard SATA port. It seems to only have an eMMC 32G drive. To make matters worse, I couldn't find a SATA interface either unless I'm just not seeing it. So would like your advise if this particular HP notebook model I have "14-ac159nr" has any capability for HDD upgrade or not. If so, where is the SATA interface and how can it be upgraded?

If you click on the View More link under the SSD listing, you will see that either SATA or NVMe M.2 drives are supported.
NVMe would provide significantly better performance over SATA.

Your notebook does not have any M.2 slots for a SSD.
You would have to replace the existing 2.5" hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
I don't know what size storage capacity you want, but I have this one in some of my HP desktop and notebook PC's, and it works great.
