Hi
UnTICK/Check the SYSTEM FAILURE - AUTOMATIC RESTART
It does not solve the problem, you have a corrupted file somewhere.
You need to start in Safe Mode and try and find the problem.
Or search on sfc /scannow for help with system files.

Hello;
I have an HP zbook 15 G4, it won't start after the battery is empty and it's not charging. My ac adapter is fine.
Is it normal that my pc won't work with Ac adapter only? or the presence of working battery is mendatory?
My laptop (model G6U18UA) has 2 usb 3.0 ports and one usb 2.0 port. About a month after my warranty expired, both usb 3.0 ports stopped working. Device manager kept telling me they were fine, but no usb devices would work on either port, even though they worked on other computers. I tried all the usual stuff: updating all the drivers, uninstalling the drivers and then letting the system reinstall them on next startup, updating the BIOS, etc. Nothing helped, so I gave up trying to fix the problem, bought a usb port extender, plugged it into the usb 2.0 port, and that gave me 4 working usb 2.0 ports. But that arrangement soon became a hassle: the extender eats up desk space and gets in the way of my mouse and other devices. So recently I revisited the problem and tried at least to diagnose it. I tested the ports using the HP UEFI Diagnostics utility and, as expected, the two usb 3.0 ports failed. But just for grins, I also tested the usb 2.0 port, and that failed with exactly the same failure ID: PU2BHG-7HE9LL-MFPWL1-8D3503. Yet the usb 2.0 port is still working fine for all usb devices. So now what?
Hi lii boy blue thank you for caring
i was trying with product number and serial number an on system information name
(15-cx0xxx i want to know what it mean)
No additional information for found in PartSurfer. Please read the hints below, and try again. Hints for using PartSurfer:
The most reliable and fastest way to identify your product is to enter the serial number or product number from the service tag (such as CNU123456789 or RU477EA ) in the search box above, but a more general description of the product (such as LaserJet 8100 or Pavilion 6532) is also acceptable. Also, if you know the HP part number you are looking for (such as 8120-6260 or CB394-40014M), you may enter that directly.
Searching for an HP part by entering a general description (such as Power Cord, Fusing Assembly, Motherboard, or Cartridge) will not be successful. After first identifying your HP product (as described above), you will be given several options for finding the part that you need.
You may also click here to return to the main PartSurfer screen and select from the list of HP product families. Additional information can be found in the HP PartSurfer User Guide .
Hello I have hp Pavilion Laptop 15-cw0003ng with AMD ryzen 5. I bought it in December 2018. From last 2 weeks the laptop is making too much noise continuously in intervals. I got to know that it is the fan which is making these unbearable noises. On HP support https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00042629 i found out a solution to this by updating latest BIOS version . I did it successfully. But nothing changed infact my laptop is making louder noise and more frequently. It is really painfull because its disturbing my studies and I cannot take my laptop to my University lectures. Please help.
Awesome answer - thank you very much!
Hi:
Yes, the card on the link you posted should work just fine as long as you add the second antenna cable.
I'm not sure what you mean about the Broadcom card having more connections.
According to the parts list your notebook has a Realtek 8188EE wifi card which looks like this...
It has the same two antenna terminals as the Broadcom card has, but only one is being used.
The older Realtek 8188EE wifi cards with two antenna terminals work better with two antenna cables attached to them.
The newer Realtek 8188EE wifi cards only have one terminal, and were redesigned to work with only one antenna cable.
15-cx0xxx is the generic model series. It's like you have a Ford Mustang GT. It's still within the class of Ford Mustangs. You are not going to find any information using that number as it is too broad. You need to find your specific serial number and search with that. If the HP system does not know your serial number, which is specific to your laptop only then we will have a problem. The odds you got a fake HP laptop are nearly zero.
Your laptop is not a workstation so the Performance Advisor does not recognize it.
Enter serial number here:

I want to use ssd for boot in my lappy and keep existing hdd for storage
Where should I place my new SSD, in a substitute DVD reader caddy slot or in the place of my old HDD?
Hi,
When you say loud noise, do you mean the fans are spinning fast and that is the noise you are hearing? or a strange noise, such as the fans rattling or scraping against something?
Can you open Task Manager and click on more details. (Right-click on Start and click on Task Manager)
See if there is a Process using a lot of CPU constantly (20% or more)
Let me know,
David
Hi,
The PC has an M2 slot with support for M2 SATA3 and much faster M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 970 Evo Plus or similar. You can purchase of your preferred brand and capacity.
Example:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M7Q21N7/ref=twister_B07NLZ58HW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
On page 47 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the drive
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06147959
M2 slot
You will need to install the OS on the SSD for performance gain.
Hope it helps,
David

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,
This looks like a possible hard drive failure.
You will need to get the hard drive replaced, If you're comfortable in replacing the part yourself, use the HP Partsurfer to identify the part: Click here & order it via the HP Parts store (Click here) or else you can try contacting our HP Support.
HP support team can be reached on this link.

Hello there, thanks a lot for answering my question, I would like to ask about the cause of the problem even though my device is new. Would it be possible to keep the files downloaded in the last hard disk or transfer it to the new one? Anything that I can do to backup my data?
As I've mentioned earlier this release is from the AMD, however, you can use your computer without any hassle, AMD provided drivers for laptop products that use a generic Device ID. This has no impact on performance, It just a name change due to AMD updates.
Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance.

I am new to stuff like this as I only found out a few weeks ago that you can upgrade RAM on a laptop and make it faster. I got a hp pavilion 14-ce0593sa 2 days ago and I am wondering how much RAM I can upgrade to, if any. The laptop is not slow or anything but thats only because its brand new and already uses half the RAM I have. I would just buy a 8GB stick and try to put it in but I want to make sure I am able to upgrade before spending any money.
My HP Laptop 15-bs0xx apparently did not come with Bluetooth installed.
I downloaded the driver from Intel, but it also said "We recommend you work with your computer manufacturer before installing our driver so you don’t lose features or customizations."
Can I install a Bluetooth driver from Intel on a HP computer that did not originally have it installed?
You are able to upgrade to at least 8 gigs. Your laptop has a single memory slot which has a 4 gig module of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM running at 2133 speed right now and can be increased to a single 8 gig module and perhaps even a single 16 gig module.
I say perhaps because you have the low end Pentium Gold processor and we typically see that motherboards made with such processors have more limited capacity for memory. The Manual does not expressly say this, however. So, bottom line I am sure you can install 8 gigs.
You would notice some improved operating performance from upgrading to 8 gigs. I suspect you are using more than half of the 4 gigs of RAM which is not the same as the storage you have meaning the 128 gig M.2 SSD. You very likely do have that halfway filled up.
This is the Service Manual:
Pages 51-72 show your procedure and you can just ignore the parts that do not apply to memory.
When you get the back cover off you see this:
memory module to left of red oval
The red oval shows the 128 gig M.2 SSD which is your hard drive and to the left of that is your single memory slot.
Above memory would work for you.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
