Yes that’s correct. I bought the EZALINK usb drive reinstall, Repair, recovery, restore boot fix USB, professional and home 32 and 64 Bit for all brands. I believe I paid like 15 dollars for it.

installed intel bluetooth driver
i recently installed an update through HP. Before i installed it said "in order for this package to be installed correctly, the previous package must be removed before running this driver"
I have been reading that installing updates incorrectly can damage your computer. Its a new laptop i have and im not very tech savvy. I didnt uninstall the old one because i thought it would be done automatically. At the end end it said installation was succesful though so does this mean it has worked and that the old one was automatically unistalled?

It most likely worked.
I have noticed on the newer Intel Bluetooth driver updates, the file size is very small, and I didn't see any Intel bluetooth software program to uninstall in the Windows control panel>Programs section.
With W7 and other operating systems, the bluetooth driver/software file was much larger and an Intel bluetooth program was installed as well as the driver.
Check your windows control panel to see if there is an Intel bluetooth software program installed.
In my notebook's running W10 with Intel wifi adapters, there is no Intel bluetooth software program to uninstall.

i checked and couldnt see one so maybe it is ok after all. i looked in device manager and could see the events and it says "the device is working properly" it shows the last update and the new update in the information. im assuming it is ok then ?

Which ssd and 2nd Slot Ram to buy
Hi,
My laptop has AMD Quad-Core A8-7410 APU (2.2 GHz, up to 2.5 GHz, 2 MB cache) with 4 GB of RAM. I have 2 questions,
First, I want to extend my RAM, in the 2nd slot with 8GB. I had selected few for my need, but later after opening the back panel, I found out that the frequencies are different. The ram installed in my system is a Micron 4GB 1RX8 PC3L-14900s-13-13-b4.
The second thing I want to install is an SSD. But again I don't know which one will be compatible with my system.
I opened the back panel but could not find any m.2 slot in board. So, is it really not there or I just overlooked it?
if there is no slot, shall I go for the caddy method?
if there is any, then please suggest me some 240gb SSD
Q:
1. Which RAM(8gb) will be compatible.
2. What type of SSD will support my system?

Hardware failure
Hello, I've got a problem with my laptop, I couldn't open any apps, and I tried to diagnose the hardware and I got this Failure ID : GU3U3F-8ST9KS-GXGGQK-61F703 . I tried to do a recovery of windows and I was getting errors too, and now when I open the laptop I have this info: boot device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard drive. Hard disk (3F0). Pls help me to solve this issue. Thx

You mean to say that even if I add some extra ram (8 gigs or 4 gigs) it will not improve the performance(multitasking).
If this is not the case, and I can actually add some extra ram for good, then will this do fine?

Sounds like it is a hardware issue... Try to install the latest BIOS update for your laptop, and see if that will fix anything. If not, check the ribbon wire of the keyboard to see if it is connected properly. There might be a tab that is used to secure the keyboard wire to the port. If that doesn't work either, then you probably will need to replace the keyboard...

Hi:
The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Full Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook. The HDD R & R procedure can be found in chapter 6.

You may want to consider replacing the mechanical hard drive with a better performing, normally more reliable solid state drive that fits your storage needs and budget.
After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10 for free as follows...
You can make a W10 USB flash drive installer with the Microsoft Media Creation Tool, using an 8 GB flash drive using another Windows PC, if your PC is not working.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.
Here are the steps to create the W10 USB flash drive installer...
Select Download tool now, and select Run.If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.
On the What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC, and then select Next.
Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10. You want 64 bit.
Select which media you want to use:
USB flash drive. Plug in a blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space. Any content on the flash drive will be deleted.
After W10 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

Replacement for broken keyboard key

Today my 6 key fell of my keyboard, when i tried to put it back I notest that a small part was broken of the key cap so that im not able to place the key back propperly. Is there any way that im albe to be sent a replacement key?
I tried looking on the hp support website, however there im not able to find a way to contact the hp support. So that is why i tried here.
