From the specs I can find your laptop does not have a Thunderbolt port nor even a mini-display port which is physically the same as Thunderbolt but only does video and not other type of transfers unlike a Mac. What port are you looking at?

Remove service access door and hard drive HP Pavilion Model 17-e119wm (Product # F9A46UA#ABA)
Have a Pavilion Laptop Model HP Pavilion 17-e119wm ( Product# F9A46UA#ABA). Need step-by-step instructions to remove service access door and then hard drive.
I need to remove HDD so I can recover data from it before installing a new HDD and reinstalling the OS.
I can't even figure out how to remove access door and don't want to break it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen this done using a heat gun on the chips also- even a hair dryer. Might be less risk to motherboard than full bake in oven. Anyway-whatever works,right?

usb ports not working
After a particular restart from yesterday, all of my ports stopped working.
I have a HP envy 17 notebook
serial #: [Personal Information Removed]
product#: E1P14AV
model: 17t-i100
I checked my device manager and it showed that all my USB controllers are working properly, but under other devices three new unknown device showed up with an yellow triangle containing an exclaimation mark showed up. Right clicked and it says that the driver is not installed, but I can't seem to find any that the system is willing to recognise.
Can someone help me please? Without USB ports these days, I find it difficult to function properly.

Their was no split liquid or anything of that, and all they keys are not lose, though randomly the keys started working fine yesterday but as of today theyre still messing up. Such as T typing bh5t or backspace deleteing one character but adding / instead

Use the F2 key...tap it as you boot up and you will get a screen like this:
Use component tests...hard drive test.
