There are many different options when it comes to locking your laptop that has no Kensington key hole. There are laptop security devices that attach to the laptop. They work for any device by attaching them to the device with some sort of adhesive. You can also get Kensington slot adaptor that does the same thing. Below are links to products similar to the ones I have spoken of.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.

I understand that you have an HP ENVY x360 - m6-w011dx and would like to know how to install an M.2 SSD drive on it. Thank you for sharing the images.

I did some research on this case and found this service guide. The page# 32 does show how to connect an m.2 SSD for these laptop series. The compatible SSD part no mentioned is 813081-001.

Also, when I enter this part no. in the HP Part Surfer website. It gives a list of HP laptops that support this SSD. And unfortunately, your laptop model has not mentioned on that list.

Therefore, seems like your laptop does not support the m.2 SSD.

Hope this information helps. Let me know. Cheers! Smiley Happy

HP 15 Notebook PC- Battery failed, replacement needed and error ID: RE00W. Is there any other fix?

I was using my laptop connected to the power source when the moment I turned off the power source it got discharged. So I charged it but the battery icon shows '0% available battery plugged in not charging.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling battery driver, changing power settings, etc. But all that didn't work.

What's the solution to this problem other than replacing the battery

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.

I understand that you would like to know which battery to purchase from the two options:  HP VI04 battery and HP LA04.

I did some research using some internal tools and suggest you to go for the HP LA04 battery because that is the closest and the compatible one for your laptop. This laptop has been tried and test ed with only the 2850mAh battery. No higher capacity battery has been tested yet for this model.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know. Cheers! Smiley Happy

Unfortunately the whole series of HP Pavilion 15-n2xx machines only has 2 options

  • 15.6 in, light-emitting diode (LED), SVA, high-definition (HD), BrightView (1366×768) display, 3.6-mm; typical brightness: 200 nits
  • 15.6 in, SVA, high-definition (HD), BrightView (1366×768) display, 3.0-mm; typical brightness: 200 nits SVA + eTP touch + Mutto G1F/GIS OGS (Multitouch)

All display assemblies include 2 wireless local area network (WLAN) antenna cables
16:9 Ultra Wide Aspect Ratio

Therefore other panels would not fit and work on your computer.

Regards.

So would a Kingston KCP3L16SD8 8GB module work together with the already installed one?
