So recently I have noticed that my Probook 450 G4 is working fine and nothing significant was facing any problem until I saw the power LED is blinking (in white color) at a 2 seconds of interval. The battery is fully charged and at its 100% level. This stops when I remove the power. Everything else is working good. What could be the issue?

I tried to open my backcover for a RAM upgrade, but I can't do that, it seems like it's going to break. I saw some videos about that but I can't do that anyway
I have a Pavilion 13-an0506sa which is out of warranty and has been dropped. All the components still work fine but points within the top cover where key components like a hinge and the power supply are smashed so I think I need a replacement top cover. I know the part number that I need, but I it doesnt seem to be available on parts surfer and I cant find a number to call at HP to ask a human. Does anyone know if HP can provide this part please or what any other options might be apart from trying to repair it myself? Thanks!!

So I have the ENVY laptop and the HP G5 Hub, since Feb 2021. CRAZY issues here:
I have 2 27" screens connected via the hub, evrthoing works perfectly UNTIL I go online. I get numerous crash outs (Blue Screen) when I simply use a website, i.e., click on any HTML page that has any features, scripts, pop up menus, anything other than straight text. If I click on a link _ bam_ crash!
It also occurs whilst watching (streaming) in AMazon Prime, within the film - the film will freeze then _bam_ crash.
Other issues include, not showing the images coded into emails, images, gifs coded into web pages, certain logins cannot be proceeded, the displays justz do not show the content - UNLESS I do a browser refresh, THEN the images appear - AND NO, it has nothing to do with the browser settings as I test this using just the laptop...
The error message is always the same:
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Error cause: rtux64w10.sys
Some research leans towards the hub from what I've found.
OH, when the Hub is not attached, the ENVY runs perfectly - I have done several attempts at reproducing the bug withouth the hub and the laptop works as it should.
Any clues to resolving this would be GREAT, otherwise I'll be returning the G5 Hub back to HP.....

I followed your steps in the reply to no avail. One obvious note is that in device manager to even see the "Synaptics SMBus TouchPad" device under "Mice and other pointing devices" I have to check the "show hidden devices" under the view tab of the device manager.
In addition when I go to settings, then devices, then mouse, and then additional mouse options, i get a pop up message that says "Synaptics Pointing Device" (red X) Unable to connect to the Synaptics Pointing Device Driver." "If you have installed another PS/2 Pointing Device Driver please uninstall the Synaptics driver by clicking on the Yes button. You then need to reinstall your pointing device driver for your external device again. Do you want to uninstall the Synaptics driver now? (Yes or No)????
Under Settings, then apps & features, I notice that i have the "Snaptics Pointing Device Driver" installed, it shows "19.0.12.98"
When I goto support.hp.com and try to find software/drivers for my HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, A5F92AV, no updates or files are available as I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version: 19042.906 installed.
We better pray HP never gets into making onboard computers in cars, they will program it to turn the headlights off after 15 seconds and tell you to flash your high beams to turn them back on!
Then when you asked them why did they make that change after you bought the car, they tell you, "It's to save battery life, not everyone needs the headlights on all the time" !!!

Yes, I have no idea what HP was thinking of when they installed 32 GB drives on notebooks that run W10 and its constant updating.
I have a HP Stream notebook and HP installed a 64 GB eMMC drive in it and I still ran out of space with just Microsoft Office and a couple other small programs.
What you are going to need to do periodically (every couple of years or so) is to clean install W10.
Keep your files stored on a SD card, and use the media creation tool to create a bootable USB installation flash drive.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Since your notebook originally came with W8.1, if you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option.
When you get to the part of the installation that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space. Click Next, and W10 will install.
That way you will have the latest build of W10 at the time and probably around 10 - 12 GB of free space.
After W10 has completed installing you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
My Spectre x360 15 (with Nvidia GPU) is generating an incredible amount of coil whine. In a quiet room, it is almost impossible to work with it, and gives me a headache in no time at all. The coil whine persists with power or while running on battery. Is anyone else facing this issue? Can anyone suggest a fix?

Beware, lots of other HP SATA cables are 10 pin and won't work, I know this from experience.
If you haven't found it yet, the socket you are looking for might be labeled "JHDD".
Also beware, your manual (link below) says *select models only* have 2.5" drives, so double check that the socket is there for it.
