I represent the IT department of a Catholic Private school and we have just recently bought 30 HP Envy X2's.
It has come to my attention this morning, while working on bolstering the wireless infrastructure that our Envy X2's duplex at an incredibly slow speed to the rest of the network.
We are running a cisco enterprise wireless solution with 40mhz channel width with channel bonding and all our clients duplex at 300mbps whereas the HP Envy X2's (which supposedly support both 40mhz channel width and dual band) only duplex at 65mbps which is causing huge speed issues with logon.
I have the latest drivers installed on these devices and I have tweaked settings all morning trying to boost the speed by forcing the drivers do use full power on battery, forcing the drivers to use 40mhz channel width, forcing the drivers to use N as well.
And still nothing.
All the devices are causing huge problems.
