I was recently given an older Elitebook 8540p that I have decided to use as a web browsing computer around the house/office. However, upon receiving it, I noticed that the touchpad did not work properly. I am able to move the cursor around using either the pointstick or by dragging my finger around the touchpad. However, the buttons don't seem to work properly. It treats both buttons as right click. I attempted to configure the touchpad and also reinstall/update/rollback the driver, but none of this has helped. Are there any other possible solutions for me to try?
