HP Compaq web cam is not working

I have Hp Compaq  Notebook 620. The devices have 2MP Web Cam but the Web Cam is not working. When i try to make it on, its shows error

"No webcam detected. HP Webcam will now Close"

 Please suggest the solution of the problem.
