I had followed those troubleshooting steps before with no result, allow me to explain you the symptoms.
First of all the charger's output voltage is as it should be, the battery is dead but that should not be a problem cause it is detached. The charger is plugged in to the lap top with the battery detached, the white light as soon as i plug in the charger turns on white for 4 seconds and turns off stays off. I press the power button to turn the lap top on, the fanner starts working and I can hear the HDD moving but after that nothing the laptop blacks out and the white led next ot the charging slot turns white for 2-3 seconds and goes off. I have start thinking it might be a cpu issue or a DC Adapter issue so I will try to find another adapter to try.
