I understand that the screen on the tablet portion of your Envy x2 has been damaged. I would be happy to be of assistance!
Because the screen is physically broken, I do not see any workarounds to repair the part as is. I would suggest contacting phone support at 1-800-474-6836, or you can get the support number for your region from the link below:

If on the phone they conclude that there are no further options, you might want try try contacting HP Parts Direct to replace the screen on the tablet of your notebook.
The number for HP Parts Direct is 1-800-227-8164.
If you look at the HP Envy x2 Maintenance and Service Guide, and turn to Page 40, you will see a list of applicable part numbers. On Page 41, there you can find specific instructions to remove the broken screen and replace it with another.
