user experience with 8770w

I have an 8740w at work which I absolutely love. So I bought the updated 8770w model with both SSD and HD for home use.

Performance is fantastic, but the user interface is absolute garbage compared to the old 8740w.

The keyboard on the 8770w reflects light and even with back-lighting I have to move the 7 lb. laptop around to see the keys . The sweet touch bar of the 8740w with its lighted color icons has been replaced with a few bearly visible buttons in the upper right hand corner. The smooth sloped front of the 8740w has been replaced with square edges so typing is a chore because your hands no longer glide onto the keypad. It's a huge step down from the original design.

Should have actually tested this model before buying. That was stupid on my part, I assumed the new model would be at least as great as the old model. How does this happen? They actually lured my away from my Macs for a brief moment. Guess it was too good to be true....
